Clinics help golfers improve their game

Oakland County Parks and Recreation (OCP) is offering golfers the opportunity to improve their game with putting, chipping and pitching clinics.
 
The clinics will be offered at OCP’s five golf courses throughout April and May and will be conducted by OCP Golf Instructor Al Urpsis. Instruction includes:
  • Putting clinic – Covers grip, proper technique, alignment and reading the greens. Participants need to bring their putter.
  • Chipping Clinic- Covers grip, proper technique, stroke and alignment. Participants need to bring their pitching wedge.
  • Pitching Clinic – Covers grip, proper technique, stroke and alignment. Participants need to bring their pitching or sand wedge. 
The clinics are $15 each; $25 for two; or $36 for three. Check DestinationOakland.com for times, dates and location.
